Playbench Privacy Policy

Playbench (“Playbench,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an AI-assisted game creation app operated by Monovi. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

Email address (required for email sign-up; may also be provided by Apple or Google Sign-In)
Display name (optional)
User ID associated with your account

Content you create

Game projects, prompts/chat used to generate games, comments, likes, favorites, and related user-generated content
AI-generated cover images or thumbnails stored with your projects
If you publish a game, your display name and published content may be visible to other users

Purchases

In-app purchase history and receipt/transaction metadata needed to grant credits and prevent fraud
Payment card details are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Playbench

Device and notifications

Device/install identifiers used for fraud prevention (for example, signup gift abuse prevention)
Push notification token (if you enable notifications)

We do not collect precise location, contacts, camera/microphone content, or advertising identifiers for ads. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

Create and manage your account
Provide app features, including AI game generation
Process credit purchases and restore entitlements
Send optional push notifications (for example, when a game is ready)
Prevent abuse and fraud
Provide support and improve reliability of the service

3. AI Processing

When you use Playbench’s build/chat features, your prompts and related content are processed by our AI provider (Google Gemini via our backend) to generate games and assets. Do not submit information you do not want processed for that purpose.

4. How We Share Information

We share data only as needed to operate Playbench, including with:

Supabase — authentication, database, and storage
Google Gemini — AI generation from your prompts
Apple / Google — sign-in and, where applicable, billing
Expo — push notifications and app updates

We do not sell your personal information and do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Public content you choose to publish (such as a published game and display name) is visible to other users.

5. Retention

We retain account and content data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account, subject to limited legal or security retention where required.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

Playbench is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information.

You can:

Update certain profile information in the app
Delete your account in Settings (see our Account & Data Deletion page)
Contact us at contact@monovi.com.tr to request help with privacy questions or deletion

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. We take steps appropriate to the service to protect your information.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Playbench after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
